KU LeuvenTeresa Cabrita currently serves as an Assistant Professor of EU Law at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels, having previously worked as a Research Associate at KU Leuven's Institute for European Law and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory. Her academic credentials include a PhD in European and International Law from the University of Amsterdam (2023), an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University (2010), and a law degree from NOVA School of Law in Lisbon (2009). At KU Leuven, she played a crucial role in developing their first MOOC on EU Law while coordinating research activities for the Institute for European Law and the RESHUFFLE project. Her research focuses on the relationship between EU and international law, EU external relations law, EU legal history, and European and international disaster law, with her work appearing in prestigious publications such as the Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law, European Papers, and the European Constitutional Law Review.
