Tan Chee Soon

Dr. Tan Chee Soon is a lecturer in the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She earned her B.Sc. from the National University of Singapore, an M.A. in Applied Psychology from Nanyang Technological University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Tan is actively involved in teacher education and the professional development of psychologists, focusing her research on reading disabilities, reading assessment and interventions, and systems support to enhance reading success. Her expertise contributes significantly to advancing educational practices and outcomes in her field.
