Tamio Oguchi received his Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Tokyo in 1983. He is currently a professor at The Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research (ISIR) at Osaka University, a position he has held since 2010. His research interests lie in Condensed Matter Theory, focusing on first-principles calculations and materials informatics.Professor Oguchi's work aims to understand the fundamental properties of materials at the atomic level, utilizing computational methods to predict material behavior and properties.
