Dr. Takahiro Yamazaki is a Project Lecturer at the Organization for Interdisciplinary Research Project at The University of Tokyo. His academic interests encompass urban planning, landscape planning, and landscape ecology. Dr. Yamazaki has held several prestigious positions throughout his career, including a JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists at Hokkaido University (2015-2017) and The University of Tokyo (2017-2019). He was also a Visiting Researcher at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2018, and served as a Project Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo from 2019 to 2021, followed by an Assistant Professorship at Kobe Design University (2021-2023). Additionally, he contributes as a technical advisor, serving on the editorial board of the Architectural Institute of Japan and participating in selection committees for community-proposed activities in Kobe.
