Sveinung Jørgensen

Sveinung Jørgensen is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainable Business at NHH Norwegian School of Economics, where he specializes in corporate sustainability. His research focuses on aligning sustainability with profitability through the design and innovation of sustainable and circular business models. Jørgensen actively collaborates with companies to implement these practices and conducts natural field experiments to study economic decision-making, particularly behaviors that support sustainable business models. He co-authored the widely downloaded book RESTART Sustainable Business Model Innovation and has developed an open-access online teaching program in sustainable business model innovation. In addition to his academic role, he serves on various boards and advisory committees, engaging in practical applications of sustainability in business. Jørgensen holds a PhD from Karlstad University and has a strong commitment to advancing sustainable practices in the business sector.
