Sun Yi, PhD, is a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Peking University. She graduated from the same institution in 2012 and pursued her doctoral studies there, during which she was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council to study abroad for a year at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tokyo, Japan. After completing her PhD, she remained at Peking University and has since taught several courses, including Pharmacology, Cellular Pharmacology, Advanced Pharmacology (Central), and New Drug Discovery and Drug Targets.Dr. Sun currently holds a National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund and is involved in various projects, including the "Major New Drug Creation" National Science and Technology Major Project led by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Her primary research areas include the pharmacodynamics and pathogenesis of drugs targeting neurodegenerative diseases and functional multi-neuron calcium imaging. Additionally, she manages educational funds from both Peking University School of Medicine and Peking University School of Pharmacy, contributing to advancements in pharmacological education and research.
