Steven Broglio

Dr. Steven Broglio, Ph.D., is a Professor of Kinesiology and an adjunct Professor of Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan. He serves as the Director of the Michigan Concussion Center and the NeuroTrauma Research Laboratory, where he oversees clinical care, educational outreach, and interdisciplinary research focused on concussion prevention, diagnosis, management, and outcomes. Dr. Broglio has been instrumental in advancing the understanding of mild traumatic brain injuries through his extensive research, which has received funding from organizations such as the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense.In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Broglio teaches the "Michigan Sport-Related Concussion Training Certification" course on Coursera, providing healthcare professionals with essential knowledge for managing sports-related concussions effectively.
