Stephanie A. Mayers

Stephanie Mayers (she/her/hers) is a Senior Research Strategy & Program Specialist at the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR). With a master’s in Community Development and Action from Peabody College, she brings over 15 years of experience in clinical and community research, particularly with marginalized populations. Her previous roles include Community Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center and coordinator for health disparity studies. Since 2016, Stephanie has been involved with the Trial Innovation Center’s Recruitment Innovation Center, where she guides best practices for recruitment, engagement, and retention in multi-center trials and supports the RIC Community Advisory Board and Recruitment Materials resource line.
