Technische Universität MünchenStephan Krusche is a Professor of Applied Education Technologies at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology, where he conducts groundbreaking research at the intersection of educational technologies, software engineering, and human-computer interaction. After completing his doctorate at TUM in 2016 with his dissertation on the Rugby process model for continuous software engineering, Krusche has made significant contributions to educational innovation. He developed the open-source learning platform Artemis, which enhances student learning experiences through automation and artificial intelligence. His teaching methodology "Interactive Learning" has been adopted by several European universities, and he regularly manages large-scale courses including interactive lectures with 2,000 students and industry-partnered project courses. Krusche's excellence in education has been recognized through multiple prestigious awards, including the Ernst Otto Fischer Teaching Award (2021), the Ars Legendi Prize for excellence in university teaching (2020), and the TeachInfAward (2019).
