Stefan Craß

Dr. Stefan Craß is a senior researcher and project manager at the Austrian Blockchain Center (ABC), where he has been contributing his expertise to multiple blockchain-related research projects since April 2020. As the manager responsible for the "Cryptography, Technology & Security" area since October 2021, Craß brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous role as a research assistant at the Institute of Information Systems Engineering at TU Wien. His diverse research interests encompass blockchain technologies and applications, coordination models, middleware architectures, modeling languages, security, and design patterns. With a background in distributed systems and middleware, Craß's work at ABC focuses on advancing the understanding and implementation of blockchain technology, particularly in areas related to cryptography and security.
