Steef van de Velde

Steef van de Velde is a professor of operations management and technology at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). His research interests encompass operations excellence, service operations, and supply chain management, with numerous publications in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, and the California Management Review. He holds an MSc in econometrics from the Erasmus School of Economics and a PhD in mathematics and computer science from Eindhoven University of Technology. In addition to his academic role, van de Velde has served as Dean of RSM and is actively involved in various editorial and advisory capacities within the field. His work focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in organizations, contributing significantly to both academic literature and practical applications in management.
