Stacy Lam

Stacy Lam served as a Student Technology Assistant at Trinity College while pursuing her Engineering degree in the Class of 2019. Her expertise in data visualization developed through her work with Hartford public health organizations, particularly focusing on domestic violence prevention. She made significant contributions as a co-instructor for Trinity's edX course "Data Visualization for All" alongside Professor Jack Dougherty and David Tatem. Her work bridged academic learning with community engagement, particularly through her internship with the Injury Prevention Center at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Hartford Hospital. As a teaching assistant, she helped develop rich content and spent countless hours supporting the edX course, which has reached over 23,000 students globally.
