Dr. Solomon González Arellano serves as Research Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at UAM Cuajimalpa, where he leads research at the Socio-Territorial Analysis Laboratory. His expertise focuses on three main areas: socio-spatial inequalities, urban mobility and accessibility, and city morphology analysis. As a member of both the IRN Habiter les Villes de Futur (CNRS) and LIIISE, he contributes to international discourse on urban development and future cities. His research examines how urban spaces reflect and reinforce social divisions, particularly in Latin American contexts. Through his Coursera courses, he shares his expertise in urban analysis and spatial inequalities, helping students understand the complex relationships between social phenomena and urban spaces.
