Associate Professor at Osaka University
Shuichi Shimma is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University. He obtained his B.S. degree in 2001 and M.S. degree in 2003 from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, followed by a Ph.D. in 2007. Prior to his appointment at Osaka University, he worked at the National Cancer Center Research Institute in Tokyo, where he began applying imaging mass spectrometry to clinical pharmacology. His research interests focus on leveraging advanced imaging techniques to enhance understanding and treatment in clinical settings.
