Shomesh Chaudhuri

Dr. Shomesh E. Chaudhuri serves as a postdoctoral associate at MIT's Laboratory for Financial Engineering, bringing a unique combination of biomedical and financial expertise to his research. After earning his BS in biomedical engineering from Harvard University, he completed both his MS and PhD in electrical engineering and computer science at MIT. His research interests span multiple disciplines, including inference, signal processing, financial time series analysis, and healthcare finance. As a teaching assistant at MIT, he has contributed to educational excellence while pursuing his innovative research agenda. His work focuses on developing new approaches to healthcare finance and investment strategies, combining sophisticated mathematical models with practical applications in the biomedical industry.
