Shivam Joshi

Shivam Joshi is a distinguished Assistant Professor at the School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, specializing in consumer behavior and sustainable consumption. He is currently pursuing a PhD at UPES, focusing on extending the Theory of Planned Behavior for food and beverage products in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. With an MBA in Advanced Construction Management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Pune, and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Shivam has a robust academic background. He has published numerous research papers in prestigious Scopus Q1 and Q2 journals, and notably, one of his research projects on ecological indicators has been adopted as a primary environmental assessment indicator by the government of Uttarakhand.Shivam's professional experience includes serving as a Project Manager at HESCO, where he developed system dynamics models and managed technological training, as well as working as a Project Associate at IIT Roorkee, where he handled scholarships and alumni affairs. At UPES, he plays a crucial role in academic management and research operations, focusing on enhancing teaching quality and driving internationalization efforts.
