Shijie Yu

Dr. Shijie Yu serves as Director of the Online Education Office at Tsinghua University and Deputy Director of the Online Education Research Center of China's Ministry of Education. His leadership roles extend to serving as Deputy Director of the Internet Education Working Committee of China Internet Society and Secretary General of the China University Prerequisites Council. His contributions to educational technology have earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award (second prize), Beijing Teaching Achievement Award (second prize), and Tsinghua University Experimental Technology Achievement Award (first prize). Through his role at Tsinghua University, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative online education initiatives, including the university's first batch of online certificate programs.
