Shih-Hao Lu obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in History from National Taiwan University in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He further pursued his academic career by earning a Ph.D. in Archaeology and Museology from Peking University in 2007, followed by another Ph.D. in History from National Taiwan University in 2008. He joined the Department of History at National Taiwan University in February 2011. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including the Shiji (Records of the Grand Historian), the history of historiography in China, bamboo and wooden slips from the Qin and Han dynasties, early Chinese history, early Chinese archaeology, and classical texts from early China.
