Shannon Wip

Shannon Wip serves as an Operations Analyst at the Inter-American Development Bank's Country Office in Suriname, where she brings expertise in both administrative management and project operations. With a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, and education from the Suriname College of Hospitality and Tourism, she has contributed significantly to the IDB's initiatives in Suriname. During her tenure, she has successfully coordinated numerous project-related events and operations, working alongside key IDB officials including Steven Collins (Chief of Operations) and other team members. Her involvement in road safety education programs has enhanced her understanding of regional transportation challenges, leading her to actively contribute to road safety awareness initiatives in the Caribbean community. Through her role in delivering educational content, she has helped strengthen the understanding of road safety issues and develop new skills among Caribbean stakeholders, demonstrating her commitment to both operational excellence and community development.
