Sébastien Moureau - University of Louvain

Sébastien Moureau is a chargé de recherches at the F.R.S.-FNRS, affiliated with the Oriental Institute of the University of Louvain (Belgium). His primary research focuses on Arabic sciences and philosophy, with particular emphasis on the transmission of this knowledge from the Arabic world to the Latin West during the Middle Ages. He specializes in the history of the so-called 'occult sciences,' particularly alchemy, magic, and astrology.
