Sebastián Matías Alonso

Sebastián Matías Alonso is a Systems Engineer from UTN-FRBA (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional - Facultad Regional Buenos Aires) and a faculty member at Universidad Austral. He describes himself as curious, studious, a teacher, a perfectionist, and an entrepreneur. He is constantly learning and improving in software development, particularly in large systems architecture, distributed systems, IoT, reactive programming, and object-oriented programming. He believes in conceiving software development as an art and practices Agile and Lean methodologies. In addition to teaching, he is a founding partner of Greencode (since 2013) with Ezequiel Lamónica and a technology entrepreneur. Over the years, they have worked on numerous Big Data projects in verticals such as e-commerce, loyalty, logistics, and security, and are partners with several entrepreneurs in the IoT and Big Data space. They are currently launching Tracy, a logistics ecosystem aimed at redefining the logistics experience.
