Scott Snell

Scott Snell is the E. Thayer Bigelow Research Professor in Business Administration and the Senior Associate Dean for Executive Education at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. He specializes in human resources and organizational capability, focusing on how organizations generate, transfer, and integrate new knowledge to gain competitive advantage. Snell teaches courses in Leadership, Developing Organizational Capability, and Human Capital Consulting, and has co-authored several influential books including Managing People and Knowledge in Professional Service Firms and Management: Leading and Collaborating in a Competitive World.His research has been widely published in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, and the Journal of Management.
