Dr. Satish Govindaraj is an Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He also serves as the Chair of the Division of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery. Dr. Govindaraj earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is recognized nationally for his expertise in managing conditions related to acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal obstruction, and other complex sinus disorders.In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Govindaraj teaches the course Acute and Chronic Rhinosinusitis: A Comprehensive Review on Coursera, which aims to provide healthcare professionals with a thorough understanding of these common conditions.
