Her distinguished career spans both academic and industry roles, including her position as an Adjunct International Professor of Plant Breeding and Genetics at Cornell University. A champion of evidence-based agriculture, Evanega founded and directed the Cornell Alliance for Science, a global communications initiative promoting informed decision-making in agricultural biotechnology. Her academic credentials include a PhD in Plant Biology from Cornell University and a BA in Biology from Reed College.
