Indiana UniversityDr. Sagar Samtani is an Assistant Professor and Grant Thornton Scholar at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, where he serves as the Founding and Executive Director of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (DSAIL). After earning his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona's AI Lab in 2018, he has rapidly established himself as a pioneering researcher in AI-enabled cybersecurity analytics. His research portfolio, supported by over $4M in funding, focuses on developing cutting-edge approaches for dark web analytics, cyber threat intelligence, and AI risk management. His academic contributions include more than 80 publications in prestigious venues spanning information systems, cybersecurity, and machine learning. Samtani's excellence has been recognized through numerous accolades, including induction into the NSF/CISA CyberCorps Hall of Fame (2022), the ACM SIGMIS Doctoral Dissertation award (2019), and the AIS Early Career Award (2022).
