Inter-American Development BankSabine Vogler serves as Head of the Pharmacoeconomics Department at the Austrian Public Health Institute and leads the WHO Collaborating Center for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies. After earning her commerce degree and doctorate in social and economic sciences from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, she has established herself as a leading voice in pharmaceutical systems analysis. Her career spans over 25 years of research in pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, and policy analysis. Through her founding of the Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Information network in 2005, which now connects 90 authorities from 46 countries, she continues to influence global pharmaceutical policy. As a member of the WHO/HAI Global Pharmaceutical Pricing Group and consultant for international organizations including WHO, OECD, and the European Commission, she advances understanding of medicine pricing and healthcare system efficiency while promoting rational use of medicines through extensive research and publications in leading journals
