Ryan Riordan is a Professor and Distinguished Professor of Finance at Smith School of Business, Queen's University, where he serves as Research Director for the Institute for Sustainable Finance. His groundbreaking research combines financial technology analysis with climate risk assessment, demonstrating that carbon risk significantly impacts asset prices. His work has been published in leading academic journals and earned prestigious recognitions including the Bank of Canada Governor's Award and designation as a Globe and Mail Changemaker for his climate finance research.
