Rosangela has worked for over ten years in the evaluation of social programs. Rosangela Bando holds a postdoctoral degree in Evaluation and Economic Development and a PhD in Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Rosangela is passionate about research in education, institutions, and their relationship to economic development. As a result, Rosangela has published in academic and non-academic journals. Additionally, Rosangela complements her research with teaching. For example, in 2015 she was an Adjunct Professor at American University and a Visiting Instructor at Catholic University since 2014, both in Washington, DC. Furthermore, she has taught at levels ranging from elementary to high school through graduate school. Her current research interests in education include: English, mathematics, and science learning; teacher training and attrition; technology in education; and gender gaps.
