Rory Ewins

Dr. Rory Ewins is a Lecturer in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh's Moray House School of Education and Sport, where he brings a unique background in political science and computer science. His research spans digital education, IT policy, and online identity, with particular focus on developing countries and academic practice. As a key contributor to the Centre for Research in Digital Education, he co-authored "The Manifesto for Teaching Online," which challenges conventional approaches to digital education. Ewins previously served as Research Fellow in ICT Policy and Strategy at SCROLLA and as an Advisor on IT Policy to the Australian Vice Chancellor's Committee.
