Rolf Dollevoet

Rolf Dollevoet serves as Professor of Railway Engineering at TU Delft's Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences while simultaneously working as a Railway System Expert at ProRail. His academic journey began with Mechanical Engineering at TU Eindhoven, followed by significant industrial experience at Bosch Rexroth Hydraudyne, where he developed an R&D department and designed test rigs for hydraulic cylinders, seals, and systems. In his current dual role, he leads scientific research and innovation for ProRail's civil engineering division while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with technical universities across the Netherlands. His expertise spans railway engineering, infrastructure management, and system innovation, making him a key figure in advancing rail technology and operations through research and practical applications.
