Robert Krause

Robert Krause, DNP, APRN-BC, is a distinguished lecturer at Yale University, where he has dedicated over 20 years to teaching in the Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing (GEPN) program. He has also held teaching positions at Western Connecticut State University and Quinnipiac University. His expertise includes coordinating clinical psychiatric nursing experiences and lecturing on psychiatric and mental health nursing topics.Dr. Krause's research focuses on innovative therapeutic practices, including the use of yoga and meditation to reduce aggression in inpatient psychiatric populations. He is currently investigating the therapeutic potential of Psilocybin for treating depression while maintaining a private psychiatric practice that addresses a range of major psychiatric conditions through therapy and pharmacological interventions. His course, "Addiction Treatment: Clinical Skills for Healthcare Providers," equips healthcare professionals with essential skills to manage substance use disorders effectively
