Rita Pearson

Rita Pearson is a Georgetown University alumna who has made significant contributions to digital humanities through her work on the MyDante Project. After graduating from Georgetown in 2013, where she studied Existentialism under Professor Frank Ambrosio, she joined the innovative MyDante Project team. Her involvement with the project began during a pivotal time of personal and professional exploration following her undergraduate studies. Through her work on MyDante, a web-based platform for studying Dante's Divine Comedy, she has helped transform how students engage with classical literature in the digital age. Her experience studying Existentialism under Professor Ambrosio, combined with her subsequent work on the MyDante Project, reflects her commitment to making classical texts accessible to modern audiences while preserving their philosophical depth.
