Rick Peckham is an internationally recognized jazz guitarist and educator, currently serving as a full-time professor in the Guitar Department at Berklee College of Music, where he has been a faculty member since 1986. He has presented performances and clinics across six continents, showcasing his expertise in a unique blend of styles, including jazz, rock, blues, fusion, and country fingerstyle. His album Left End, recorded with drummer Jim Black and bassist Tony Scherr, was named one of the best releases of 2005 by DownBeat magazine. Throughout his career, Rick has coached numerous successful Berklee alumni, including Lionel Loueke and Lage Lund, and has organized honorary doctoral tributes for jazz legends such as Roy Haynes and John Scofield.
