Richard is an Associate Professor of Enterprise at Leeds University Business School and serves as Director of Enterprise Educators UK. With over 20 years of experience, he has collaborated with hundreds of SMEs across various sectors to foster their growth. He was the Section Lead for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK, an initiative aimed at enhancing leadership skills among SME leaders. Richard has designed and led numerous enterprise and innovation programs that promote entrepreneurial thinking and uncover new opportunities. His research focuses on how executives' perceptions and experiences influence entrepreneurial project development within organizations. Before his academic career, he managed project implementation and user engagement at a fast-growing digital HR startup in London during its AIM flotation.
