Richard Skolnik is a seasoned expert in international development and global health, with over 40 years of experience in the field. He served as a lecturer at Yale University in the Department of Health Policy and Management and the School of Management from 2012 to 2016. Skolnik is the author of Global Health 101, a widely used textbook that provides foundational knowledge on global health issues.His extensive career includes 25 years at the World Bank, where he retired as the Director for Health and Education for the South Asia Region. During his tenure, he worked on various health initiatives across multiple regions, focusing on health systems financing, maternal and child health, and communicable disease control.
