Ricardo De Vecchi is the leader of the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Advisory Team at IDB Invest, where he is responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote PPP development across Latin America and the Caribbean. With over ten years of experience at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), he has previously coordinated initiatives in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru as part of the Emerging and Sustainable Cities program. His extensive background includes structuring projects in water and sanitation, transportation, and energy sectors.Ricardo holds two master's degrees: one in International Relations from Georgetown University and another in Diplomatic Studies from the Mexican Diplomatic Academy. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in International Trade from the Monterrey Institute of Technology. Before joining IDB, he served as Vice President for Latin America at CG/LA Infrastructure, where he provided strategic consulting on political, environmental, financial, and economic risks for various infrastructure projects. On Coursera, he teaches courses such as "Dimensions of Sustainable Infrastructure in a Project" and "Sustainable Infrastructure Project Financing," aimed at equipping learners with essential knowledge for managing sustainable infrastructure initiatives.
