Stanford UniversityDr. Rebecca Miller-Kuhlmann serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology & Neurological Sciences at Stanford University, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and educational leadership to her role. After earning her MD from UCSF School of Medicine and completing her residency and fellowship training at Stanford University, she has established herself as a board-certified expert in both Neurology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Her comprehensive clinical focus spans movement disorders, memory/cognitive disorders, neuromuscular medicine, and therapeutic applications of botulinum toxin, with additional expertise in headache, epilepsy, and neuroimmunology. Drawing from her background as a public school teacher in Oakland, CA, she has become a pivotal figure in medical education at Stanford, where she currently directs the Science of Medicine course series for first and second-year medical students, covering physiology and pathology across organ systems. As Assistant Dean for Preclerkship Education and associate director of the neurology residency communication coaching program, she continues to shape medical education while maintaining an active clinical practice. Her dedication to education has earned her numerous accolades, including the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation Award for Excellence in Preclinical Teaching, and she currently teaches multiple courses including Science of Medicine I, II-A, II-B, III-A, and III-B throughout the academic year.
