Professor Raz Kupferman has established himself as a distinguished scholar since earning his doctorate in physics from Tel Aviv University in 1995. As a member of the Einstein Institute of Mathematics since 1998 and its chairman since 2011, he has led significant research initiatives at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research expertise spans across elasticity theory, fluid mechanics, and stochastic processes, making substantial contributions to their applications in physics, computer science, and engineering. Through his leadership at the Einstein Institute, he has fostered interdisciplinary research and advanced the understanding of complex physical systems through mathematical modeling and analysis.
