Rangachary Ravikumar

Rangachary Ravikumar is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund, where he joined the cyber team in October 2020. His distinguished career includes serving as Chief General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India, where he established and operationalized the Cyber Security and IT Examination Group, implementing comprehensive frameworks for cyber security, incident reporting, and risk assessment. His international experience includes working as an Expert in Supervisory/Regulatory functions at the Central Bank of Oman for over five years and contributing to global financial security initiatives as a member of the FSB's Cyber Lexicon Working Group and Cyber Incident Response and Recovery Working Group.
