Rainer Svacinka

Rainer Svacinka serves as CEO of sumo Technologies and Presto Tech Hub, where he develops digital knowledge management and training solutions. After completing his MSc in Food and Biotechnology and becoming an IPMA certified Project Manager, he has established himself as an expert in research project management and consulting. His career spans over a decade managing international research and educational projects, particularly within Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ frameworks. As project manager for initiatives like ASKFOOD Knowledge Alliance, he demonstrates expertise in coordinating complex international collaborations. Through his roles as trainer at Vienna's applied university, IPMA coach and mentor, and assessor for national young project excellence awards, he continues to develop the next generation of project managers. His work supports universities, research organizations, and industry partners in aligning their research agendas with European and national funding schemes while fostering innovative start-ups across Austria and Europe
