Quelic Berga Carreras is a professor of Multimedia in the Studies of Informatics, Multimedia, and Telecommunications at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He holds a Master's degree in Design from the University of Lincoln. As an artist and researcher, Berga explores unconventional ways to represent and visualize data. His work focuses on generative art and audiovisual editing using algorithms. He has given lectures at prominent institutions like MediaLab Prado in Madrid, KUVA in Finland, and Chambre Blanche in Canada, discussing the power of interfaces and the contribution of design and art in data visualization. Berga is also known for leading the Folio project, a global student network that transforms learning environments through social and seamless learning paradigms.
