University of MichiganQiaozhu Mei is an Associate Dean for Research and Innovation and a Professor of Information at the University of Michigan's School of Information. He also holds a position as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the College of Engineering. His research interests span data science, analytics, visualization, health informatics, and social media. Mei's work focuses on real-world problems related to text information management, including information retrieval and text mining, with applications in web content, social media, scientific literature, bioinformatics, and health informatics.
