Professor of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at Peking University
Pu Xiaoping is a professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the School of Pharmacy, Peking University, where she has been a faculty member since July 2002 and became a doctoral supervisor in January 2005. She studied at Hokkaido University in Japan from 1990 to 1995, earning both her master's and doctoral degrees. After returning to China, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Neurobiology Department at the Institute of Basic Medicine, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, from 1995 to 1997.Professor Pu has published over 100 scientific research papers in domestic and international academic journals, including more than 50 papers indexed by SCI. She holds four Chinese patents related to new drug development and has led or is currently completing several significant research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Additionally, she has played a crucial role in preclinical pharmacology and toxicology evaluations for various new drugs, assisting enterprises in obtaining new drug certificates.
