Professor Trudi Jacobson

Professor Jacobson, along with Dr. Thomas Mackey, is one of the originators of metaliteracy. Throughout her professional career, she has been deeply involved in the field of information literacy, publishing extensively, including co-authoring books on metaliteracy and motivating students, as well as co-editing several volumes on information literacy collaborations between faculty members and librarians. She incorporates team-based learning into her in-person courses. Outside of academia, she is passionate about fiber arts, including weaving, knitting, spinning, and more.
