Professor Peter Komisarczuk is the Programme Director of Distance Learning in the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway, University of London. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Nottingham and a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey, awarded in 1998. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, he has worked in various research and development roles at leading companies such as Ericsson, Fujitsu, and Nortel Networks, focusing on next-generation networks and internet technologies.His research interests encompass a wide range of topics including internet security, networks and protocols, cognitive radio, distributed systems, and computer science. In addition to his role at Royal Holloway, he has previously held academic positions at Victoria University of Wellington and the University of West London, contributing to the education of future cybersecurity professionals.Professor Komisarczuk teaches courses related to networks and network security, including "Introduction to Computer Security." He is a chartered engineer (CEng) and a member of several professional organizations including the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
