Professor Michela Massimi

Professor Michela Massimi is a Full Professor of Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and has been a prominent figure in the philosophy of science since joining the university in 2012. With a background that includes a Junior Research Fellowship at Cambridge and teaching at University College London, her research primarily focuses on the philosophy of science, Kant, and the history and philosophy of modern physics. She is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science and has authored several influential works, including Perspectival Realism. Professor Massimi teaches courses such as "Introduction to Philosophy" and "Philosophy and the Sciences," including a version in Chinese (Simplified).
