Professor Wai Tsui is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she has been a faculty member since 2010. She earned her BA and MPhil degrees from CUHK and completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Her academic research primarily focuses on the lyric poetry of the Song and Qing dynasties, as well as 19th-century travel literature. In addition to her scholarly contributions, Professor Tsui has demonstrated her talent in poetry by winning several competitions, showcasing her deep engagement with both the creative and analytical aspects of Chinese literature. Through her work, she enriches the understanding of historical literary forms and their cultural contexts.
