Prof. Vincent CHUNG

Dr. Vincent Chung is an Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, recognized for his interdisciplinary research that bridges health services, public health, and policy aspects of Integrative Medicine. He advocates for the evidence-based integration of conventional and complementary healthcare through rigorous research, policy advocacy, and quality education on both local and international levels. With over seventy-three academic publications in prestigious journals such as the Canadian Medical Association Journal and Social Science & Medicine, Dr. Chung has established himself as a leading voice in the field. He has secured eight research and knowledge translation grants totaling more than HKD 2.8 million as the principal investigator and has contributed as a co-investigator on eighteen additional projects focused on health services and policy research. As an Associate Editor for BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine and other notable journals, he actively shapes the discourse in integrative medicine. His expertise has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), where he consulted on strategies for promoting healthy aging through traditional and complementary medicine. Dr. Chung is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, further enhancing his contributions to global health initiatives. His commitment to public education about integrative medicine is evident through various media appearances and invited presentations at international conferences.
