Prof Susan Rhind

Prof. Susan Rhind holds multiple qualifications, including a BVMS, PhD, FRCPath, PFHEA, and MRCVS, and serves as the Chair of Veterinary Medical Education at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at The University of Edinburgh. She specializes in veterinary pathology and is responsible for teaching pathology, anatomy, and histology to veterinary students. Her current research focuses on enhancing veterinary education, with particular interests in assessment methods, feedback mechanisms, and the development of digital resources to support student learning. Prof. Rhind is also involved in the course EDIVET: Do you have what it takes to be a veterinarian?, which helps prospective veterinarians evaluate their readiness for the profession. With a strong commitment to improving educational practices in veterinary medicine, she actively contributes to discussions and developments in veterinary education at both national and international levels.
