IISC BangaloreProf. Shishir Kolathya is an Assistant Professor at the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems and the Department of Computer Science and Automation at IISc. His research focuses on Hybrid Robotic Systems, Safety-Critical Control, and the Application of Learning Theory to Legged Locomotion. He leads IISc’s Stochastic Robotics Lab, developing learning-based controllers for quadrupeds. Previously, he worked as an R&D Engineer at Tejas Networks, Bangalore, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech, USA. His research primarily explores robotics, particularly Bipedal Robotic Locomotion.
